An afternoon barbeque with family and friends at Wrenthorpe, followed by drunken debauchery at O'Donoghue's where 'Left Hand Drive' were playing. Lots of photos from various different people due to the camera changing hands a lot

Principally a Marc Bolan/T-Rex tribute band but with other 70s hits performed well, I took along the 30D and photographed this band at O'Donoghues in Wakefield. Nice red feather boa there!

Sambuca-swilling Stacey turned up for her own beers, with some new friends too. 'Grumpy Old Men' were playing O'Donoghue's so there's some photos of them too.

Terry was on form playing some excellent blues! It was one of *those* nights including an incident with a harmonium and a logical analysis of Stacey's breasts. Ow, my head!

Our friends Ryan and Alice were playing at O'Donoghues for "Not St Patrick's Day". Landlords Janet and Brian were most welcoming, and Meg was working the bar - just like old times Nicky's on the 400D, Joel's on the G9.

Neil's last day at Fotopic, which called for a celebration. Luckily Shrood were playing at O'Donoghue's which gave us a wonderful excuse to go and have some drinks while listening to the lads play some ace music. With the lighting in ODs being a bit cack, I took most of the band pics in B+W again.

Trying out some gig photography and low-light stuff using my newly-acquired Canon EOS 30D, a trip to O'Donoghues was warranted, although there's some bad saturation here because I'm still trying to get used to the different balance (from the 10D). By complete accident the current Obvious Pseudonym lineup were all there...

Wasn't really in the mood but ended up in O'Donoghues listening to a pretty good pianist before they chucked us out at closing.

Jen was staying (all the way from New York) so a night out without the kids in O'Donoghues was warranted.

Martin (aka SlayerXP) has been going for a job in Wakefield, so came over from Norway [!] and we went out for a few beers in Wakefield. Started out in Harry's Bar (where Welsh T were playing and there was a cute barmaid from Chertsey), followed up by a very quick one in O'Donoghues and finishing in Fernandes. Mmmm. Beer.

Started the day with breakfast of croissants and pain au chocolat (and a very sticky daughter), then in the evening we went out to Billy Budd's in Wakefield for a fairly unspectacular dinner, finishing off in O'Donoghues dancing to Beatles and Chuck Berry covers.

Chased out of the house with a forced pinkslip, I wandered to O'Donoghues and watched what happened at open mic night - turns out some damn fine music.

An unexpected family lunch at the Empire fish'n'chip restaurant on Leeds Road, then off to O'Donoghues where the unexpectedness continued meeting Lee and Jemma, as well as Kieran and Jon.

Starting out with a pint in O'Donoghues, then off up to Mex Millennium for serious amounts of food and beer. We then wandered off to a few noisy bars before settling in at the Inns of Court and returning to Wrenthorpe, where Joel fell off the floor.

Trawling the bars - Bar Latino, The Graziers, O'Donoghues, and the god-awful Bing-Bada-Boom, finally terminating down Kirkgate with a kebab. Ow, my head.

I gave Ellie a quick bath since she'd rubbed cake crumbs into her hair, then nipped out to see Jon where we ended up having a pint in O'Donoghues.

A busy Friday perfecting the mug-firing process, Jon built a worktop in the garage so that we had somewhere to do work, and then we wandered off to O'Donoghues to see 'Smoke Stack Blues'. And apart from that, it was Neal's birthday!

We started out in the Tut'n'Shive in Wakefield - but there was bugger all beer on. So we moved on to O'Donoghues and listened to a couple of bands, then went and gave it large with chillis, ribs and cocktails in Mex Millennium.
