Saturday spent at KWVR for the beer and music festival. Music was provided by the Dark Horses and the Blue Kings, with quite a few beers. Seemed a lot busier than last year although the Jubilee on-train bar wasn't running sadly.

Our favourite heritage railway has been opened in its restored state for 40 years this week: many a celebration was planned involving lots of steam and diesel trains, a beer shed, and a band at Oxenhope. Disaster struck however when a train derailed at Oxenhope rendering most of the locomotives inoperable as they were trapped behind the broken points! We'd already got there to find Keighley station in what can only be described as 'chaos' but made the most of the situation - sometimes things just happen like that!

Our annual trip to the KWVR Beer Festival - with music by the Bluekings and Welsh-T Band. Joel had far too much beer - 17 glasses - and took lots of photos while we were drinking in the Oxenhope shed. A fantastic day, with many friends and lots of beer.

The annual 'Thomas The Tank Engine' weekend at Keighley - a few trips up and down the K&WVR together with watching steam engines and the turntable. Sadly, Ellie threw another strop and we ended up leaving at 4ish but otherwise it was a lovely day.

The family Christmas trip to KWVR, this year with Matt, Dad Wade and Nicky's brother Stuart. Lots of lovely beer, fish and chips, and a walk up into Haworth.

I'd had such a good day on Saturday we all went back to the Worth Valley Railway for more beer. There wasn't much left, but the kids enjoyed the music and dancing provided by Hebden Bridge Millies and Spen Valley Longsword.

Another beer festival, this time at Worth Valley where we spent pretty much all our time in the Oxenhope shed drinking ale and listening to 'Guitarbillies' and 'Sarah & Therese'.

We'd had a tip-off that it was Thomas the Tank Engine weekend on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway: a fine trip for a Sunday, including facepainting and beer.

Lee invited us up to Keighley and Worth Valley Railway for the beer festival - there were Morris dancers too, which scared Ellie a bit but she soon got into the swing of things! Sadly Ben wasn't too well, but not before he'd munched his way through giant fish and chips at Haworth.

Very cold - bitingly so - but we went out to the KWVR for their Mince Pie Special (basically a bloke comes down the train with mince pies). When we'd finally got out of the house it made us feel tons better, and we got some Christmas beer in on the CAMRA buffet too

Spoiling for a day out, we went up to ride the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway from Keighley through to Oxenhope. Plenty much fun with a packed lunch, a bakery that sold chocolate cakes, and /that/ flag.
