We couldn't be bothered to cook, so took the children to Nando's for some yummy chicken and then went for a walk to Sandal Castle. Had a great walk around the ruins, the kids climbed on some rocks and then back to the visitor centre to make a cut out of their hands to add to the wall Christmas tree.

The weather was gorgeous, but Joel was tired, so I went for a walk around Pugneys Lake with the kids and we had a wonderful time!

Proof that our son really can resist the temptation to wear a dress sometimes - even when all the other kids are dressed as princesses and fairies!

We went to Thorne to visit Great Aunt Winnie and Rita - a perfect time to grab some photos for the family album.

My best friend is a bit of a globe trotter with her work, which means that we get to see her once in a blue moon. Due to 6 months of work in Iraq, followed by a stint in Afghanistan, we haven't seen her in over a year, so when she came home for a wedding, we took the opportunity to visit and introduce her to her pseudo-nephew for the first time.

Went to Heidi's for dinner, and got some lovely pictures of the children.

A trip with the children to see Grandma and Grandad Meese. Ellie got to water the plants in Grandad's garden. Or rather, she watered just one plant, but over and over again!
