Visiting the festival in Wakefield Precinct, including the food demonstrations and stalls. Ellie wanted to read the gravestones outside the Cathedral - we found the stone of Luis Fernandes, one of Wakefield's foremost 18th-century brewers!

The annual staff Christmas party in Wakefield, with Fotopic staff from far and wide! We started at Henry Boon's, went on to Louie's Cajun restaurant and then ended up in Fernandes Bierkeller until about 1ish. Nairn brought out a pile of glowsticks halfway through the dinner, which provided some rather amusing diversions before most of them ended up round Richie's neck.

Not often we get a pub night out nowadays! Since we had Mark stopping with us we managed to arrange a babysitter and hared off to Fernandes Brewery Tap and Bierkeller which opened a few weeks ago. We were joined by Lee and Jerry, and presently Ryan and Alice - a good night out, with lots of continental beer and a sore head the following morning.

Martin (aka SlayerXP) has been going for a job in Wakefield, so came over from Norway [!] and we went out for a few beers in Wakefield. Started out in Harry's Bar (where Welsh T were playing and there was a cute barmaid from Chertsey), followed up by a very quick one in O'Donoghues and finishing in Fernandes. Mmmm. Beer.

What started out as a couple of pints with Jon turned into a bit of a sesh on Malt Shovel Mild, in a microbrewery in Wakefield. Yum. Followed by a curry in Hot Chilli II, but there aren't any pictures of that.
