The remains of the party rose gradually and had Sunday lunch at Wrenthorpe, followed by a serious Guitar Hero 3 session.

Complete with an underlit disco dance floor and many Eurovision collages, we celebrated Andy Abraham's entry 'Even If' (although we knew we'd do badly thanks to the block voting). Marios came as Ireland, Nicky was an Azerbeijan angel, Ellie was Scooch, Ben was a pirate, I was Jahn Teigen (1978's Norway entry) and many guests turned up in outfits too including Icelandic cross-dressing! Absolute madness which went on until 4:30am and involved much dancing....

Ellie wants to be a hostess out of Scooch for the Eurovision party, so I've been sewing her up a frock. It's over 12 years since I last stitched anything in anger though!

After the party is the party come-down, with Sunday lunch and a lot of hungover silliness. Jelly the Kitten found a new hiding place in Marios' jacket, and we all laughed at Nairn who had partaken of too much gin the night before.

Our annual Eurovision Song Contest party, where Joel was dressed as Russ from Scooch, Nicky was a Serbian lesbian backing singer, and Marios turned up in a toga. The wine flowed freely and we lost spectacularly thanks to block-voting and not pulling out of Iraq.

Picking up the remains with a giant joint of beef, with Yorkshire puddings and plenty of wine and port while we pieced together what happened last night. Yummy yummy!

Joel was dressed supporting DJ Daz Sampson in the UK, but the blonde wig kept going walkabouts and eventually ended up being worn by Ellie.

A debauched fancy-dress party watching Eurovision, drinking way too much and involving a rather large garlic sausage. Greece won, which meant that Neil was stacking drinks up courtesy of the Eurovision drinking game.
