Bringing the whole hedonistic weekend to a close with some familiar classic rock we were stage front for No Quarter, doing Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin covers.

From the remains of Dr Blue came ZZ Eliminator representing the Live and Gigging promoter slot. Beards, pimp coats, and some excellent covers!

The inevitable question came - does Rat really know where he is? Fuelled by Strongbow and something smokable, Quelladrive returned with their Hawkwind-esq sound and analogue synths.

Blues-infused rock from the Hummingbird Blues Band in the beer tent, by this time most of the beer had run out.

Alt-metal influenced by the likes of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam from Smile Poltergeist on the bandstand.

Jon Gomm plays 'percussive acoustic guitar', a fantastic sound and one which had the park mostly quiet for his set. Total and utter jaw-dropping talent.

A classic set of blues originals and covers from Crosscut Saw reminiscent of BB King to infuse the beer tent with the lazy Sunday afternoon vibe - however, the real ale was running low and we were starting to panic.

Punk rock revival reminiscent of the Sun era from Rebel Yell, with a fantastic acoustic double bass. Plenty of energy, they just wouldn't stand still.

Oh yeah baby, it's the hard rock revolution. SubNova on the main stage as the sun shone and we all drank beer. Ben in particular loved them.

I don't think we've had hip-hop at Clarence before, so this was a bit of a change from 'Don't Talk To Strangers'. They'd brought a singer and a set of decks too.

Bringing the classic blues rock covers into the beer tent was the popular Welsh T, who despite tripping the power breakers twice gave a great performance.

Sunday morning was taken up with running some promo shots from the minilab, and showing Nairn how it all worked - well, once the bugger had got up to temperature, anyway.

To finish off the first day’s events the sultans of sleaze Zodiac Mindwarp and The Love Reaction were back and set to rock us back to the 80’s and beyond! Classic debauched rock, smoke machines and everything.

A slight pause as the police requested that the tents be moved down owing to a bit of a chav fight going on in the woods behind the hill - not fun, especially when the buggers came back at 4am the following morning for more.

A bit of funk rock from the ever popular Eris who fill another of the promoter slots on behalf of WTP Music - most of them were also stewarding the event (those flourescent jackets aren't just a stage outfit!).

By this time Neil had taken to the stage as well to try and get the lights working, and oh my goodness - the Innocent OJs returned for their first gig in years! One of Wakefield's leading bands, we took photos of this lot at a previous Clarence and they were no less entertaining.

Armed with an electronic piano/organ and a pile of samples, Jason Wakefield provided 45 minutes of original classical prog-rock fusion to the bar queue in the beer tent.

Grunge rock outfit and WTP Music Battle of the Bands winners Theory1 took to the main stage as it began to drizzle again - that didn't stop the moshing though.

And so the moshing started with Scion, a local death-metal band sponsored by The Snooty Fox. The goths were out in force and at least two people were dragged away by St Johns Ambulance, but by gum did the hair get hurled around!

With violin, piano, bass, drums and some sampling, The Hellset Orchestra could only be described as a rock orchestra reminiscent of Arcade Fire. Absolutely fab.

Hailing from Wakefield's twin town of Castres, Les Jocks are French rockers who sound a bit like McFly or Busted, only with talent. Ben loved 'em.

Actually, we're not sure if this is Goggle-Eyed Psycho, since it seemed a bit too peaceful and there were some lineup changes.

We got there at about 1:30pm, to see funk-rockers D-Koy on the Lite Structures stage.

Got to Clarence Park a bit late today, but managed to hear 'Coney Island Jesus' (punk) and 'Strange Brew' (rock/soul covers - did an excellent cover of /Immigrant Song/). It was a bit damp, too!

We went off to Clarence Park in Wakefield, for the Clarence Park Music Festival - it's an annual event which features free bands. We drank wine and champagne, Ellie got her face painted, and there was some pretty good music too. Oh, and a pimp on stage.
